While Voices' 16 gains outpaced 11 losses during the 2011 legislative session, many of the gains will significantly benefit South Dakota children. Issues on which Voices took a stand were related to education, health, juvenile justice, child protection, and safety. Voices’ lobbyist in Pierre during the session was Dr. Greg Boris, senior policy and program specialist.
